                    IS COMPARABLE WORTH GOOD ECONOMICS?

Ken, I'm about 45 pages away from a PhD in economics and I don't understand your
comment about comparable worth being bad economics.

"Supply and Demand" theories are formed without regard for prejudices held by
employers - I've never seen a formal theory that states: Wages = value of
marginal product if and only if employee is male.

The fact is, most people are not paid the "economic" value of their services.
Societal pressures cause this.

By the way, economics considers both efficiency (your supply and demand) AND
equity.
