According to my newreader's Outbox, since July 21st, I've submitted 92 articles (original or reply) to a.r.s under my ISP account (mreuss@mciworld.com).
I visited Deja.com yesterday, and was amazed when a search on my e-mail address reported 14,000 hits. Although I had seen the 200 or so sporgeries by my name in the weekly sporgery stat posting, I really had not spent any time thinking about how many sporgery postings were aggregating under my name on Deja.com. And frankly, the actual paging down through pages and pages of forged spam headers with my name on them, really pissed me off.
The sporgers have posted an average of 151 sporgeries using my name and e-mail address for every legitimate article I have posted. I find that just fucking amazing.
Obviously the sporgers are making Deja.com a useless resource for anyone looking to track our past submissions to a.r.s, unless, of course, we spend the hours necessary each week to "Nuke" each and every forged post. And that I am not willing to do, as I simply do not want to invest the time. And I should not have to do that.
Frankly, if I were incorrectly protesting an innocent organization, an ethical organization, an organization which did not hold anti-social, totalistic, oppressive values dear, as I have claimed, I don't think I'd have to worry about nuking tens of thousands of forged bullshit posts. And people who were legitimately interested in using the service that Deja.com pays for, who happened to want to read our past offerings, would be able to do so.
But, on the upside, under any a.r.s participant's name, Deja.com is a clear record of someone's intent to oppress our freedom of speech, to use subterfuge and unethical activities to make our protests go away. And that is a powerful message. That's why I'm posting this now., to encourage people to see what the sporgers are doing to corrupt and ruin Deja.com's archive.
Newbies, lurkers, go check out Deja.com. Ask yourself why anyone would spend the time and effort to do such mischief. Then come to the only sensible conclusion.
The cult of Scientology lies when they say they value communication. They lie when they say they value and protect free speech. They lie when they say they tolerate criticisms or don't try to ruin dissenters. And remember well that they lie, because someday you might hear some auditine addicted street peddler offer you a free personality test. Then you can ask that shyster why they lie so much.
BTW, I'd be interested in seeing others add the ratio of sporgeries to legit posts for their names. If you are interested, and have a few minutes, go to www.deja.com and do a search for a.r.s and your e-mail address.
