    No it doesn't.
    It says sixty nine weeks.

    The author of Daniel could have said years if he wanted to.
    Instead he said weeks.

    The most likely explanation is that he MEANT what he said: WEEKS.

    Trying to say that a day equals a year AFTER the prophecy has failed
    is nothing more than an obvious and very shabby attempt at damage
    control.
