FLAT AS A PANCAKE

The earth is as flat as a pancake, and if you don't believe it 
you are just another dirty atheist. At least that is what Sheik 
Abdel-Azi Ibn Baaz, the supreme religious authority of Saudi 
Arabia, says. The blind cleric made this pronouncement over two 
years ago.

It seems that this cleric hasn't caught up with the pope, 
science-wise. John Paul II reversed the Roman Catholic 
condemnation of Galileo three years ago, in 1992.
